The most common chiptuning questions

How much stronger will the car be?
It varies by engine and ECU. I only give a figure once I know the exact vehicle data and options – no generic "+X hp" promise.
Can fuel consumption drop?
In some cases, with the same driving style, consumption may improve, but I don't guarantee it. Driving style has a strong effect.
How long does it take?
The time needed depends on the vehicle and the ECU. We agree the expected time in advance, with the quote.
Can the factory software be restored?
Whether the factory state can be restored depends on the specific ECU. We clarify this during consultation.
Can every car be chiptuned?
No. Sometimes the ECU or software can't be modified safely, or a fault must be fixed first. I determine this from the vehicle.
What if the car already has a fault?
Then the fault must be found and fixed first. It's not worth modifying a car in uncertain condition.
What details should I send for a quote?
Make, model, year, engine and power, fuel, gearbox type, known faults and a short description of your goal. VIN if needed for exact identification.
What warranty or documentation comes with the work?
